YMCA NEW
Boomers and Beyond

Learning is a lifelong phrase associated with the aging of the baby boomers. They see lifelong learning as a way to keep the mind, body and spirit stimulated, challenged, and fully engaged. A recent study showed that over 90% of surveyed adults, aged 50 and over, do plan to continue learning as they age. They want to continue their physical and spiritual growth, and have fun by learning something new.

The YMCA of the Brandywine Valley is uniquely positioned to serve this need.
By focusing now on the societal trends and issues affecting the 50 plus group, we can continue to fulfill our mission to offer programs and services that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for everyone, regardless of age, income, or fitness level.

The calendar below lists lectures, luncheons, and events scheduled at all six branches of the YMCA of the Brandywine Valley that we hope will appeal to our members who are 50 plus.
